About us

The Padma Yoga offers daily yoga classes, mixed with meditation, breathing exercises and relaxation. We offer different styles, hatha, integral, tantra and yoga dance.
The daily practice of yoga has many benefits to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level.

We organize Yoga and  Shakti Yoga Dance workshops and retreats  in Algarve, Costa Rica and Germany

We also offer other therapies as Usui Reiki, Chakras Balancing (Energetic treatments),
Thai Yoga Massage and Sound Healing with singing bowls.

Patricia gives private  sessions:"Open Heart"- Yoga therapy sessions. A method created by her. She is a 1000 hours Senior Experienced Yoga Teacher certified by Yoga Alliance International from India with experience in yoga for woman, Trauma sentivive Yoga , Tantra and Chi Kung. She helps woman to empower themselfs , with lack of libido, dificulty in getting pregnant,  cysts, fibroids, menstrual pain, menopause.

Patrícia Bandeira Duarte-Padma

(Padma) Patricia Duarte
Woman, mother, reiki teacher, yoga teacher, womb keeper, xamanic, dancer for passion.

Padma is her yoga espiritual name. It means lotus flower, spiritual growth, peace, grace. Patricia Bandeira Duarte always loved to travel and know the world and other cultures. She was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal.  She started doing yoga in 1999 in Cologne, Germany where she graduated in Languages.
She is a free spirit so she enjoys traveling and living in other cultures. She was looking to give a spiritual meaning to her life. She started practicing Yoga 1999 in Germany and also in Costa Rica, where she  stayed for 10 years. She learned Tantra Yoga with Ananda Marga in 2008 and since then she decided to become a Yoga Tearcher.
 She is also  a Reiki Teacher and Thai Yoga certified therapist. She opened Pdma Yoga Center in 2009 in Guanacaste, Costa Rica and 2013 in Lisbon (Portugal).

Since 2011 Patricia  is a certified 1000 hours Senior Experienced Yoga Teacher by Yoga Alliance International. Now with more than 5000 Hours of teaching experience, she offers 100, 200 and 500 hours yoga teacher training.

She also studied Taoism ,Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Somatic Sexuality. Patricia is also certified in Sound Healing with Gongs and tibetan singing bowls by the Peter Hess Academy in Germany.

Patricia created Shakti Yoga Dance, a mix between Yoga and Dance.She loves to dance so learned Samba and African dance in Germany and Salsa and oriental dance in Costa Rica. Shakti Yoga Dance shares all her knowledge, it is influenced from her dancing experience and  Tantra Yoga , Meditation and Taoism practice. She wishes to help women to improve their lifes, awake their potencial, connect with their inner force.

Our logo is very special for us, he has geometric and balanced construction.
Inspired by cobblestone, he is the lotus position (padma) in contact with the universe.
